Lorette Lucas Testimony
Lorette Lucas, a native of Belize and a student in Jamaica, completed her formal education while residing there. Upon completion, she migrated to the United States and, upon arrival, obtained a job on Wall Street with Solomon Brothers and Boomburg. There, she met a very close friend, Adelina Flelming, now deceased, whose son is AR Bernard of the Christian Cultural Church in Brooklyn. Lorette and Adelina remained faithful friends upon her death.
Lorette’s love of learning led her into the humanities, where she became a substance abuse counselor serving the underprivileged population in her area.
She is very connected to her two daughters and one son, and is the proud grandmother and great-grandmother. Daily, encouraging them to walk hand in hand with the Lord.
Today, her activities are centered on charitable work, such as in-home ministries, offering communion, visiting nursing homes and hospitals, and offering communion to those who are shut-in along with her Priest.
Recently, Lorette experienced a fall that took her quite a while to recover from while accompanying her sister to a funeral. Lorette still receives therapy today, but her resilience keeps her moving forward toward her goals, working closely with her priest.
Lorette is a very knowledgeable person who stands faithful in the affairs of her home and her church community.
